FARGO – North Dakota Democrat Byron Dorgan voiced optimism mixed with nostalgia, when bidding goodbye to the U.S. Senate this afternoon.
In a half-hour speech, Dorgan spoke of fond memories after serving 30 years in Congress and said there’s reason for hope that America’s best days are still ahead. His term ends Jan. 3.
